In other words, if you can relate to a film in your own way, it gives the film real life context and therefore making what goes on in the film a reality in itself, as well as creating a seemingly real environment in which you (the spectator) can conceptualize the film. The male voice behind the camera in any porn clip bothers me extremely because of the fact that it feels fake, and is fake. It creates a distance between me and my sexual experience and connection with the film. I do not want to sit, watch and listen while some other dude get to determine what is going on in my sexual fantasy scene of choice. A porn film would never, ever suffer without the voice from the camera. With out the voice, a film seems like it is taking place (living), becoming a reality in my own terms, not in the terms of some shaky camera guy who is whacking his dick wishing he could get in on the action. A message for cameraman talkers: Grow some balls, and love your job! Create something with your camera that people will enjoy, in fact film these clips exactly how you would want to see them, just don't say it out loud (it'll feel more real, jackass). Oh yeah, and make it art while your at it and all that means is taking pride in your work and taking it very seriously.
So if you are actually reading this, you may be wondering why I like this porno scene. Well, as stated above creating any good film requires an ability to create opportunity for the spectator to relate to the film. Part of being able to bridge that kind of relationship is having actors or actresses that can connect with the audience. In porn this does not (in most cases, from my experience) have so much to do with the actual acting, as it does with the actors and actresses having that something special that really makes someone want to, or need to (for one reason or another) watch them.
